Alcyon Massive
Alcyon Massive is the project of producer and songwriter Charlie Blake: more than 15 years in the Pacific Northwest, somewhere between hip-hop, roots rock, folk and reggae, with a live looping rig doing a lot of the heavy lifting. Here it is a reggae night, with guitarist Nick Garrett-Powell, who is apparently not allowed a free Saturday. Reggae in a barrel room in downtown Ashland is not the most obvious booking we have made. We suspect it is one of the better ones. Bring someone who says they don't dance.
