Friday in Ashland: pizza, wine, and zero pretense.
Friday nights at Resistance Wine Company are the best kind of accidental plan. The Allium brings its wood-fired pizza truck, and Friday Night Pizza Night runs 5–8 PM. Charcuterie, empanadas, wood-fired pies, pasta. We pour the wine. You do the math.
The tasting room is at 322 N Pioneer St in Ashland, Oregon, a short walk from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Lithia Park, and the rest of downtown. Kids are welcome until 9 PM. Dogs are welcome if they're reasonably well-behaved. No dress code. Book ahead if you can; walk-ins are welcome when there's room.
If you're looking for things to do in Ashland on a Friday night that don't involve a three-hour play and mandatory intermission wine, come argue about the Rogue Valley Malbec and let the pizza truck handle dinner.
Quick answers.
- Do I need a reservation for Friday nights?
- Book ahead, any size party; we like knowing you're coming. Walk-ins welcome when there's room.
- Is the pizza truck there every Friday?
- Usually. The Allium's wood-fired pizza truck keeps its own hours, usually 11 AM–8 PM; Friday Night Pizza Night runs 5–8 PM. The Allium is a separate business and sometimes caters offsite events, so check with them before coming just for pizza.
- Do you have non-wine drinks?
- We're a winery. We pour reds, whites, and rosé by the glass or bottle. Water's free.
