Wine tasting in Ashland, Oregon. No pretense required.
Resistance Wine Company is a working tasting room at 322 N Pioneer St in downtown Ashland, Oregon — not a themed patio, not a corporate tasting bar. The actual room where the wine is made. You're welcome here Thursday through Sunday; book ahead and we'll have a spot ready.
We pour small-lot Rogue Valley reds, whites, and rosé. We're open Thursday–Saturday 2–7 PM and Sunday 2–6 PM. Book ahead if you can; walk-ins are welcome when there's room. The flight is $20, waived on two bottles — pick a glass, argue about the Syrah.
Ashland is packed with things to do — Shakespeare Festival, Lithia Park, the whole downtown mile. But if you want honest wine poured by the people who made it, 322 N Pioneer is where that happens. The Allium's pizza truck keeps its own hours, usually 11 AM–8 PM.
Quick answers.
- What are your hours for wine tasting?
- Thursday–Saturday 2–7 PM, Sunday 2–6 PM. Book ahead, any size party; we like knowing you're coming. Walk-ins welcome when there's room.
- Do I need a reservation to visit?
- Book ahead, any size party; we like knowing you're coming. Walk-ins welcome when there's room.
- Is there food at the tasting room?
- Usually, yes. The Allium's wood-fired pizza truck keeps its own hours, usually 11 AM–8 PM; Friday Night Pizza Night runs 5–8 PM. The Allium is a separate business and sometimes caters offsite events, so check with them before coming just for pizza. Wood-fired pies, salads, empanadas. Plan on coming hungry.
- Can I bring my kids or my dog?
- Kids: sure, until 9 PM, as long as they don't use the barrels as bongos. Dogs: yes, if they're cool. If your dog's nicer than most humans, perfect.
