Welcome to the Winter Rebellion
Our after-hours speakeasy-style series where wine flows, jazz smolders, and comedy keeps things dangerously fun through the winter months. We’re hosting a rotating lineup of intimate nights filled with live jazz, stand-up comedy, and that underground energy you didn’t know you needed this season.
Each evening has its own personality — some nights smooth and soulful, others laugh-out-loud ridiculous — but every night will be one to remember!
Here’s how it works
Show up thirsty and ready to relax into sultry jazz music or to laugh so hard you have to try not to spit your wine everywhere.
Comedy Nights
A ticket price of $25 per person will be charged at the door on comedy nights to support our local artists. Please no children. 21+ only. These jokes will not be family friendly.
Jazz Nights
Jazz nights are free to attend. These nights are meant for everyone. Perfect for families.
Reservations are appreciated. Walk-ins are always welcome.

We are happy to welcome anyone with last minute plans to join us as well!
What time does jazz start?
Our Winter Rebellion jazz nights start at 6:00pm and usually last around 2 hours.
Come hungry and thirsty! There will be lots of good food and wine to keep you enjoying the whole 2 hour set.
What time does comedy start?
Our Winter of Rebellion comedy nights start at 7:30pm. Come hungry and Thirsty! We usually have an opener and closer that you won't want to miss, so we have lots of yummy food and drink to keep you enjoying yourself the whole night!
Where does jazz and comedy take place at Resistance Wine Company?
Our Winter Rebellion jazz and comedy nights take place in The Resistance Barrel Room in our tasting room at 322 N Pioneer Street in Ashland, Oregon.
What kind of wine will you be serving at jazz and comedy nights?
Syrah, Malbec, Cab Sauv, Tempranillo, Sauvy B, Chenin Blanc, Rosé, and whatever other rebellious surprises we bottled last.
Will there be food?
Yes! We have a fresh new food program supplied by The Allium Wood Fired Pizza, who has a new home for their food truck right out back from our tasting room!
Charcuterie, empanadas, wood fired pies, pastas, salads, potato chip pairings, and artisan chocolates!
Plan on coming hungry to your tastings and events!
Can I host my event here?
Heck ya! We love throwing parties. Birthdays, shows, divorces, board meetings — we don’t judge. Just know the wine will upstage your PowerPoint.
What should I wear?
Winter Rebellion jazz and comedy nights do not have a dress code!
So wear whatever you can spill Syrah on without crying. Although, Lin usually has a Tide Stick in their bag for emergencies. Somm things.
