Travel the world through four of its most celebrated wine regions in this engaging lecture series taught by our good friend, Wine Educator Dan Dawson. Each session combines an Illustrated PowerPoint presentation, video, and lively discussion exploring the history, geography, culture, grape varieties, and winemaking traditions or a renowned wine-producing area.
We'll visit Rioja in Spain, Mendoza in Argentina, South Australia and South Africa. Discovering what makes each region unique and why its wines have earned international acclaim.
Each class includes a guided tasting of 4 premium wines (2oz each) selected to showcase the distinctive character of the featured region. No prior wine Knowledge Is required--just curiosity and a willingness to explore the world one class at a time.
There are four sessions to this class.
September 13-Spain,
September 20- Mendoza,
September 27th- Australia,
October 4th- Africa.
All four sessions together is $160. A single session is $50.
