First Friday is basically our way of saying: you survived the week — now come drink wine about it.


Join us each First Friday for good pours, live music, great food and the kind of vibes that make you forget what day it is (except that it’s Friday… and that part matters).


We’ll be pouring your favorite Resistance wines, cranking up the good energy, and welcoming you in like family.


The rundown for July

2:00pm-8:00pm: Wood Fired Pizza, pastas and salads from The Allium's new Food Truck!

Wine tastings, bottles, glasses! Come hungry!

 

6:00pm- 8:00pm-  Live music- July Performance by Calysta Cheyanne with Paul Turnipseed on guitar


Come for “just one glass.” Stay for three. No judgment here.

Calysta Cheyenne is a Portland-based jazz vocalist whose captivating voice brings the Great American Songbook and classic jazz standards to life. Inspired by legends like Ella Fitzgerald, Julie London, Peggy Lee, and Billie Holiday, she blends timeless tradition with soulful expression. She has trained for nearly two decades under Ken Orsow using Seth Riggs' Speech Level Singing Technique and furthered her studies at Berklee College of Music with acclaimed vocalist Alison Wedding, as well as with award-winning jazz educator Alexis Cole. Alongside performing throughout the Pacific Northwest, Calysta continues to write original music and share her passion for jazz with audiences across the region.

  • Do I need a reservation for First Friday at Resistance Wine Company??

    Reservations are recommended for any night we have an event. Most of our events are very popular and  fill up very quickly. 

    We are happy to welcome anyone with last minute plans to join us as well!

  • What time does First Friday at Resistance Wine Co start?

    First Friday starts at 2:00pm and will go until 8:00pm.

    Come hungry and thirsty! There will be lots of good food, live music and wine to keep you enjoying the whole night.

  • Where does First Friday take place at Resistance Wine Company?

    Frist Friday takes place in The Resistance Barrel Room in our tasting room at 322 N Pioneer Street in Ashland, Oregon.

  • What kind of wine will you be serving at First Friday?

    Syrah, Malbec, Cab Sauv, Tempranillo, Sauvy B, Chenin Blanc, Rosé, and whatever other rebellious surprises we bottled last. 


  • Will there be food at First Friday?

    Yes! We have a fresh new food program supplied by The Allium Wood Fired Pizza, who has a new home for their food truck right out back from our tasting room! 

    Charcuterie, empanadas, wood fired pies, pastas, salads, potato chip pairings, and  artisan chocolates!

    Plan on coming hungry to your tastings and events!

  • Can I host my event here?

    Heck ya! We love throwing parties. Birthdays, shows, divorces, board meetings — we don’t judge. Just know the wine will upstage your PowerPoint.

  • What should I wear to First Friday?

    Wear soemthing you can spill Syrah on without crying. Although, Lin usually has a Tide Stick in their bag for emergencies. Somm things.
