Our Love Affair with syrah
Our journey with Syrah began in 2003 when Kimberly and Kirk visited the Hunter and Barossa Valleys in Australia.
Despite narrowly missing the Shiraz Festival, we fell in love with the bold, rich flavors of Syrah in Australia. This passion has fueled our dedication to crafting exceptional Syrahs that embody the essence of Southern Oregon's unique terroir.
2018 Syrah
Jones Vineyard in Medford, Oregon
Winner of the Best Red Wine at the 2023 Oregon Wine Experience, the 2018 Syrah from Jones Vineyard is a masterpiece. This wine captivates with its deep garnet color and complex aroma of blackberry, violet, and a touch of pepper. Its full-bodied palate offers rich flavors of dark fruit, complemented by silky tannins and a long, elegant finish.
2019 Syrah from Jones Vineyard in Medford, Oregon
The 2019 Syrah from Jones Vineyard continues the legacy of excellence with its robust structure and vibrant flavor profile. 2020 Syrah from Jones Vineyard in Medford, Oregon and Grizzly Peak Vineyard in Ashland, Oregon
A collaborative effort between Jones Vineyard and Grizzly Peak Vineyard, the 2020 Syrah showcases the best of both terroirs. This wine features a bouquet of ripe cherry, black currant, and earthy undertones, with a rich, velvety texture that makes it a pleasure to drink. It's well-integrated tannins and balanced acidity make it a versatile choice for any occasion.
It is shaping up to be a new favorite of ours.
