A Rebel's Wine Education
Because the best way to RESIST is to get educated.
Okay, here is the deal. We don't like going to school either.
That is why we created The Underground Wine Academy- An accessible and exciting way to learn about wine in some of the coolest ways possible.

Malbec Breakdown
July 19th
5pm-7pm
Wine lists. Grocery stores. Your aunt's house. That one guy at the table who says, "I only drink reds."
But what is Malbec, really?
A grape?
A lifestyle?
A cry for help from people who don't know what else to order?
We're spending two hours getting to the bottom of it.
Join the Underground Wine Academy as we put Malbec under the interrogation lamp and ask the tough questions:
- Why did France let Argentina steal its grape?
- Are all Malbecs legally required to taste like blackberries?
- Can a wine be both elegant and look like it listens to dad rock?
- Is vintage variation real, or are wine people making things up again?
- Could you survive a blind tasting in the wild?
We'll taste four versions of Malbec side-by-side:
- Two vintages of Resistance Malbec
- One French Malbec from the old country
- One Argentinian Malbec from the land of steak and impossible mountain vineyards
By the end of the night you'll learn:
- Why where a wine grows matters
- How age changes wine
- The difference between Old World and New World styles
- At least three things you can say at a dinner party to sound suspiciously knowledgeable
This is not a lecture.
This is a highly organized grape investigation.
No memorization.
No exams.
No one will ask you what "wet river rock" smells like.
Just good wine, good people, and an unreasonable amount of Malbec.
